PRESSED FLOWERS

With flower pressing there is the initial delight of gathering fresh flowers and foliage, then the filling of the flower press and finally revealing the results.
The whole process is all so fabulous and joyful.

The gathering has to be done on a fine dry day, the placing in the press is important to achieve good results, this is time consuming and almost a meditative process, and finally the delight of releasing the preserved flowers is just a wonderful feeling of excitement and uncertainty.

All my designs are created from nature with love.

I have grown as much as I can for pressing and I also source locally and sustainably.

I use the traditional slow-pressing technique; this takes between four to six weeks to successfully preserve the flowers.

If you would like your wedding flowers or special bouquet preserved, then I can design and create a bespoke pressed flower picture for you to keep as a memory of your day/occasion forever using some of the flowers/foliage from your original design.

PRESSED FLOWER CARDS

Hand picked flowers and foliage materials are gathered from local sustainable sources and from my small but abundant cottage garden here in north Norfolk which provides me with inspiration for the delicate pressed flower designs.
All materials used are 100 % biodegradable, even the kraft brown envelope can be composted.
I use sustainably sourced materials and eco-friendly processes to create my cards.
The materials used to make the cards is all natural, so a natural fading of the colour will occur over time, to protect the design from this please place out of direct sunlight and away from humidity.

Each card is a unique individual piece of artwork, perfect for all occasions; my pressed flower cards make a beautiful individual keepsake memory.All cards are individually made by hand, ensuring exceptional attention to detail and quality.
